Diane Randall: A writer. She’s also Miss Freeman’s newest tenant. A bit on the flaky side, but extremely clever when it comes to figuring things out.

Mark Carlton: A salesman. He’s one of Miss Freeman’s tenants. He’s extremely charming, especially to Diane.

Miss Freeman: A landlady. She’s very nosy, always seeming to know what’s going on with each of her tenants.

Mr. Anderson: A tenant. He does some handy work for Miss Freeman. He can usually be found arguing with his wife.

Mrs. Anderson: Mr. Anderson’s wife. She can usually be found arguing with her husband.

Detective Harrison: A policeman. He’s very gruff, with little to no tolerance for civilians.
