“I may be more comfortable up there, but I doubt if I’ll be able to concentrate. You’d be amazed at the noise people can make.” -Diane

“Oh, I believe you. Why, the Anderson’s had a doozy of a fight last night. Do you know the Andersons?” -Miss Freeman

“No. I just moved here.” -Diane

“Oh, that’s right. Well, you won’t be bothered down here. Hardly anyone ever comes in the basement during the day, except for Mr. Anderson. And that’s only if there’s something wrong with the furnace. The last time that happened was two months ago.” -Miss Freeman

“It sounds perfect.” -Diane

“What are you planning on writing?” -Miss Freeman                         

“I haven’t decided yet.” -Diane

“If you need any ideas, I’d be glad to help. There isn’t a story I haven’t heard from around here. I heard a great one the other day from Mr. Carlton. Do you know Mr. Carlton? He lives right next door to you.” -Miss Freeman

“I’m afraid I haven’t had the pleasure.” -Diane

“That’s right, you just moved here, didn’t you?” -Miss Freeman
